Data Refresh Policy

Getting Started

Measured draws data from your integrated platforms through API and various other sources. After being processed, this data is aggregated and sent to the various dashboards within your Measured account so they accurately reflect your recent marketing activity.

Regular Data Updates

Features within Measured are updated with aggregated data from your integrated platforms on a daily basis. This occurs in the early morning in the time zone your account is based in.

The Cross-Channel Dashboard is updated multiple times per day for various reasons, such as new data coming from your integrated data sources or when new campaigns are mapped in your account’s taxonomy. Each day, there will be a main update in the early morning to pull in data from your integrated sources. This will be followed by periodic updates throughout the day based on updates to your account’s taxonomy.

Benchmarks has benchmark data aggregated from other brands released at weekly and monthly intervals. Your own data will be updated on a daily basis, which may affect your benchmark placement in between aggregated brand data releases.

Media Plan Optimizer is updated on a daily basis, so any of your saved plans using a set time interval (e.g. Latest 30 Days) will automatically adjust if opened on a day after their initial creation.

Geo Testing data will be updated daily, but conversions measured by the test are only counted on a weekly basis. Your test results will only reflect full weeks during which the test was run.

Seeing When Data Was Last Updated

On your Cross-Channel Dashboard, you can view the date and time the metrics on your dashboard were last updated in the upper-right corner of the screen.

Clicking on this information will show a list of all of the data sources you have integrated with Measured, along with the date that we last processed data from them. This list is a helpful resource for reviewing when your individual integrated data sources were last updated.

Data sources that contain information for multiple vendors, such as manually collected spreadsheets, will still be processed as normal to update your dashboards. Be aware that these will not be shown on the list of when your integrations were last updated. That list will only show single sources of data.

Delays to Scheduled Updates

In the event of a delay to our normal schedule of updates, your account will be notified as soon as possible. When the schedule resumes, it will be updated with the data for that calendar day alongside any missing data from prior days.

If one of your integrations breaks on Measured’s end, you will be alerted. Alternatively, if you sense one of your integrated data sources isn’t updating correctly and you have not received notice from Measured, make sure it hasn’t been disabled on your end and you’ve forgotten to communicate this to us.
